Following is a table setting out such information as is available:

have been made for betting shops in the petty sessional area which includes the Borough of Willesden through the appropriate betting and licensing committees, detailing the number granted and refused, and the number that have been granted to any person already holding a licence in the area.

Up to 31st May, 1962, the latest date for which figures are available 55 applications for new grants of betting office licences had been made to the betting licensing committee for the petty sessional division of Willesden. Forty-five of these were granted and 10 refused. There were three appeals to quarter sessions against refusals, two of which were allowed. I regret that the information asked for in the last part of the Question is not available.
