§ 39. Mr. Ronald Bellasked the Minister of Transport whether he will make arrangements far notices to be sent to existing holders of road fund licences in respect of motor vehicles reminding them of the date on which their present licences will expire.
§ Mr. HayNo. Expiry dates are clearly printed on licences which are their own reminder. A reminder system would be expensive to operate and ineffective in the regrettably large number of cases in which vehicles change hands without the licensing authority being notified.
