§ Mr. Russellasked the Minister of Transport if he is aware that pedestrians still have difficulty in crossing Harrow Road, Wembley, near Sudbury and Harrow Road Station, despite the provision of a refuge in the centre of the carriageway, because traffic will seldom stop for them; and if he will now authorise a pedestrian crossing at this point.
§ Mr. MarplesI have received no request from the local authority since a refuge was installed at this site in July last year. If a request is made, I shall, of course, consider it carefully.
