asked the Secretary of State for the Colonies what are now the prospective stages in the implementation of the South Arabian Federation.

Mr. Sandys

The Federal Council has now approved the amendment to the Constitution.

The Treaty, on the lines of the draft in the White Paper, will first be signed and an Order in Council will then be submitted.
