§ Mr. Biggs-Davisonasked the Secretary for Technical Co-operation what assistance he is providing for the newly established Desert Locust Control Organisation for Eastern Africa, in order to help it at the start.
§ Mr. VosperHer Majesty's Government are making a grant of £40,000 towards the first year of operation of the Organisation and are ready to make available any technical advice asked for. Provision for the grant will be included in the Spring Supplementary Estimate. Meanwhile an advance of £40,000 is being made from the Civil Contingencies Fund.
