§ Mr. BarberA return based on the Catto Committee's finding was published for 1952–53. This was analysed by the Royal Commission on Scottish Affairs, which however made no recommendation that further returns should be prepared. It has not been thought worth while to prepare a further return, which would be of very limited value to students of the Scottish economy.
