§ Mr. RipponFollowing consultations with the Trustees of the British Museum and with the then President of the Royal Institution of British Architects, I have decided to ask Professor Sir Leslie Martin, M.A., F.R.I.B.A. and Mr. Colin A. St. John Wilson, M.A., A.R.I.B.A. to act as consultants for the preparation of a plan for the development of the site and a design for the building. They were selected from a number of architects with experience in the field of library design.
