§ 81. Dr. Dickson Mabonasked the Secretary of State for Scotland (1) what estimates he has made for the years 78W 1962–66 of additional financial aid to local authorities to meet capital requirements arising from the provisions of the Mental Health (Scotland) Act, 1960;
(2) what estimates he has made for the years 1962–66 of additional financial aid to local authorities to meet the new recurring expenditure arising from the provisions of the Mental Health (Scotland) Act, 1960.
§ Mr. MaclayLoan charges arising out of capital expenditure by local authorities on mental health services are included, with their current expenditure on those services, in relevant expenditure for the purposes of general grant. Accordingly no separate figures of financial aid for this purpose are available.
