MacphersonIndustrial development certificates issued for Scotland totalled 4.8 million square feet in 1961 and 0.8 million square feet in the first quarter of 1962; the comparable figures for the London and South East areas were 19 million square feet and 3.6 million square feet respectively. The 1962 figures are provisional.
