§ 53. Mr. de Ferrantiasked the Parliamentary Secretary for Science whether he now anticipates that the European Space Research Organisation Treaty will be signed in the near future; and whether it is proposed that any of the establishments of the Organisation should be in the United Kingdom.
§ Mr. Denzil FreethThe Preparatory Commission has proposed that an intergovernmental conference should be held next month for the signature, by those Governments which decide to join, of a Convention and other documents. It is not proposed that any of the establishments should be in the United Kingdom.
