Mr. Cronin

asked the Minister of Aviation if he will change Schedule 10 of the Air Navigation Order, 1960, having regard to the desirability of more stringent requirements in the law governing the route-checking of aircraft commanders operating passenger charter flights.

The Schedule applies the internationally agreed standards to both scheduled and non-scheduled operations.

I am considering whether the Schedule should be made more detailed in its application.
