HC Deb 11 April 1962 vol 657 c139W
85. Sir C. Osborne

asked the Minister of Labour what progress has been made towards a solution of the dock dispute in the Port of Liverpool, in view of the damage being done to trade, and in particular the export trade.

Mr. Hare

As my hon. Friend is no doubt aware the recent dock strike in Liverpool ended on 2nd April and I understand that urgent consideration is being given locally to means for avoiding a recurrence of similar difficulties.
