§ Mr. Moreasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer whether he will make a further statement about the rates of interest charged to local authorities borrowing from the Public Works Loan Board.
§ Mr. BarberA Treasury Minute made on 5th April, 1962, provides that loans advanced to local authorities by the Public Works Loan Board on and after 7th April, 1962, until further notice, shall carry the following rates of interest:
Per Cent. Loans for not more than five years 6¾ Loans for more than five years but not more than fifteen years 6¾ Loans for more than fifteen years but not more than thirty years 6¾ Loans for more than thirty years 6¾
