§ Mr. WoodAt 9.22 a.m. on Monday the 26th March there was a flashover to earth on a 132 kilovolt switch at Brunswick Wharf power station. Supplies to 84,600 consumers in the London area were interrupted. Most supplies were restored by 10.05 a.m.; 400 consumers in St. Marylebone were cut off until 10.15 a.m.
