HC Deb 02 April 1962 vol 657 c1W
4. Mr. D. Griffiths

asked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food when a decision will be made in the case of the Doncaster firm, about which there has been correspondence between himself and the hon. Member for the Rother Valley since 14th August, 1961.

Mr. Vane

I am sorry for the delay in this case which is a most complicated one, but I hope to be in a position to make a decision soon. The hon. Member will appreciate that considerable sums of public money are involved, and I must be fully satisfied that all payments under the Fatstock Guarantee Scheme are properly substantiated and justified.
