HC Deb 24 October 1961 vol 646 c82W
Mr. Chapman

asked the Prime Minister what reply he has sent to the telegram, sent to him by Sir Alexander Bustamente of Jamaica, alleging that proposals to curb migration to Britain have only arisen since West Indians have started coming to Britain in numbers, and that such a curb would be a camouflage for colour discrimination.

The Prime Minister

I have acknowledged the telegram and told Sir Alexander Bustamente that I am giving his message the fullest consideration.
