§ Mr. Selwyn LloydI have had a number of exploratory discussions about possible new arrangements for planning and consultation on a national basis with the Trades Union Congress, the Federation of British Industries, the British Employers' Confederation, the National Union of Manufacturers and the Association of British Chambers of Commerce. I am also consulting the chairmen of the nationalised industries. The discussions are continuing. I hope to be able to make an early statement about their outcome, but I cannot yet say when this will be possible.
