§ Mr. AmeryWithin the reef there is little danger from sharks, but the water is shallow and coral makes bathing unsatisfactory. Outside the reef it would be impracticable to fit shark-proof nets because of the depth. A number of suggestions has been made for providing satisfactory bathing facilities and these are being examined.
