§ Mr. WatkinsonBritish forces in Europe are trained, deployed and equipped to meet the agreed requirements of the N.A.T.O. Supreme Commander in accordance with accepted N.A.T.O. strategy. It would be wrong to inform a possible aggressor in advance of the circumstances in which nuclear weapons would or would not be used.
