§ 83. Mr. W. R. Williamsasked the Postmaster-General whether he will state the proposed figures of capital expenditure planned for the Post Office for the years 1961–62, 1962–63, 1963–64 and 1964–65, respectively.
§ Mr. BevinsPresent plans envisage capital expenditure on fixed assets of £119 million in 1961–62 and £129 million in 1962–63. I hope that a further increase will be possible in the succeeding two years.
