§ Mr. BraineIn response to a resolution passed unanimously by the Basutoland National Council in September, the High Commissioner has invited the Paramount Chief, after consultation with leaders of political parties, to review the working of the 1959 Constitution, in the light of the experience gained. The Committee will be composed of representatives of the Chieftainship and the main political parties. On the economic side high priority is being given to soil-conservation in accordance with the recommendations of the Economic Survey Mission.
