§ 72. Sir W. Wakefieldasked the Minister of Works if he will state the amount of compensation received from the United States Government in respect of damage done to the Bernhard Baron Pavilion in Regent's Park as a result of the crashing of a United States Transport Dakota on the Pavilion in 1943.
§ Lord John HopeThe aircraft which crashed on the Pavilion in 1943 was operated by the Royal Air Force and manned by an R.A.F. crew. No question of the payment of compensation by the United States Government therefore arises.
