Mr. Iremongerasked the Minister of Transport how many accidents have occurred during the past three years at the junction of Woodford Avenue and Clayhall Avenue, Ilford; what represent tations he has received regarding measures required to make this junction less dangerous; and what action he pro poses to take.
§ Mr. Hay24 personal injury accidents were reported during the past three years. Numerous representations for the improvement of conditions have been received, and we are discussing with the local authorities remedial measures including the closure of the gaps in the central reservation, the erection of guard rails and the construction of pedestrian subways.
