§ Mr. MarplesThe Parliamentary Secretary and I visited a number of shipyards on the continent in order to learn at first hand about conditions there. What impressed us most was the good relations between management and men. We obtained no evidence that the Governments in the countries concerned give long-term loans to the shipyards.
