§ Mr. Dempseyasked the Minister of Labour if he is aware of the dispute between the Scottish teachers associations and the Secretary of State for Scotland, as a result of which a series of strikes are due to start on 5th June; and if he will take steps to bring both parties together with a view to reaching agreement and preventing dislocation of the educational services in Scotland.
§ Mr. HareIt would not be appropriate for me to intervene. My right hon. Friend will shortly be communicating further with the Associations on the subject of non-graduate men teachers.
