Hurdasked the President of the Board of Trade if the shipments of Polish eggs to this country have now been reduced to 11,000 boxes a week; and what precautions he is taking to ensure that there will not be a repetition next spring of sales of Polish eggs at a price that involves dumping likely to cause material damage within the meaning of the Act.
§ Mr. ErrollPolish sales on the shell egg market last week amounted to 10,320 boxes and I understand will be less than 11,000 boxes this week. As regards the future, the Board of Trade would, of course, be ready to consider an application from producers for action under the Act if some evidence were forthcoming that dumped imports were causing or threatening material injury.
