§ Mr. Boxasked the President of the Board of Trade if he will make representations to the National Coal Board to reduce the price of coal supplied to industries engaged in the export drive in Wales, with a view to promoting exports and avoiding the need to import cheap coal from overseas.

I do not think it would either be practical or appropriate for the Board to relate its prices to the export performance of its customers.
