§ Mr. Callaghanasked the Secretary of State for the Colonies if he will receive a delegation from the Asians' Postal Union, the Railway Asian Union, and the East African High Commission Asian Staff Association to consider their complaints about their future conditions of service.
§ Mr. Iain MacleodThe position of the Asian civil servants in East Africa is a serious and difficult matter which I am urgently considering in consultation with the East African Governments and Administrations. As soon as I can usefully do so I will willingly see a delegation of the recognised Asian staff associations.
