Mr. VaneI am sure the House will be glad that the strike is now over. The only price increases directly due to the dock strike have occurred among certain types of fruit and vegetables such as Canary tomatoes. There is also a tendency for some beef prices to rise slightly. The total effect of these price variations cannot be calculated but it cannot be large.
