§ Mr. Healeyasked the Prime Minister what steps he has taken to secure the implementation of the declaration of the Commonwealth Prime Ministers concerning disarmament.
§ The Prime MinisterI hope that the coming bilateral discussions between the United States and the Soviet Union, for which the United Nations General Assembly have given their unanimous support, will result in a resumption of multilateral disarmament negotiations. As I indicated in reply to Questions on 23rd March, Her Majesty's Government's attitude at such negotiations will be guided by the principles set out by the Commonwealth Prime Ministers.
