§ Mr. Denzil FreethThe Governing Body of the Foot-and-Mouth Disease Research Institute, Pirbright, have been authorised to negotiate an agreement with a pharmaceutical firm, the Wellcome Foundation, Ltd., for the production on a commercial scale at Pirbright of foot-and-mouth vaccines for sale abroad. The cost of the buildings required is estimated to amount to about £100,000 and will be eligible for grant-aid from public funds.
