Mr. Leatherasked the Minister of Aviation why, on the morning of 31st March at 11.30 a.m., at London Airport, an incoming Lufthansa aircraft was directed to land passengers on the far side of the apron, and a Trans Canada aircraft to do likewise nearly a mile from the Terminal Building, when there were four empty berths alongside the Terminal Building.

The Trans Canada Aircraft, a DC 8, was directed to a stand suitable for use by large jet aircraft.
