HC Deb 30 March 1961 vol 637 c161W
Earl of Dalkeith

asked the Minister of Aviation if he will make a statement about the future of the Scottish Aerodromes Board.

Mr. Thorneycroft

The new Scottish Advisory Committee on Civil Aviation has been set up to advise me on aerodrome as well as air services questions in Scotland. There is therefore no necessity for a separate Scottish Aerodromes Board. I should like to express my appreciation of the valuable advice that the Board has given to my predecessors and to me.
