asked the President of the Board of Trade how many jobs have been provided by approved projects under the Local Employment Act in the county of Northumberland; and whether he will make a statement.

About 250 jobs should accrue from the two approved projects to which my hon. Friend referred in his Answer to the hon. Member on 7th March. In addition to these, there are about 3,000 new jobs in prospect in the county of Northumberland as a whole.
