§ 44. Mr. Awberyasked the Minister of Pensions and National Insurance if he is aware of the disappointment of people drawing National Assistance allowance who expected to draw the full pension increases but who will in effect receive less than half the amount; if he will take steps to rectify this; and if he will arrange that in future both the retirement pensions and National Assistance scales are increased at the same time and by the same amount.
