Member for Barking may expect an answer to his letter of 20th February concerning the hole in the road at the corner of Gower Street and Store Street, Bloomsbury; if he is aware that this hole now stretches for some distance along these streets and is an increasing nuisance and danger to 46W walkers and motorists; what is the purpose of the hole; how long it has been open; and when it will be closed.
