§ Mr. BrookeDuring 1960 the Oldham Corporation submitted to me three compulsory purchase orders for slum clearance. A preliminary estimate of the cost of acquiring the land was upwards of £35,000. I can make no estimate of the cost of clearance and redevelopment. One order has been confirmed. The other two are under consideration.
