§ Mr. HareThis is not my general policy but unemployed persons who cannot find work locally and are willing to move may be offered work in other districts. In some cases, financial assistance may be given under the Ministry's Transfer Schemes.

§ Mr. HareIt is not possible to estimate the future extent of migration, but as more jobs become available in Scotland, there will be less need for workers to migrate in order to obtain employment.
