Osborneasked the Minister of Labour if he is aware that the strike of Yorkshire coal miners has resulted in uneconomic use of power-loading and other mining machinery; whether he will intervene in this matter in order to secure a resumption of work; and whether he will make a statement.
§ Mr. HareMy hon. Friend will know that there was a full resumption of work by 13th March. I am aware of the serious effects of this unofficial strike and deplore the loss of production it caused.
