HC Deb 16 March 1961 vol 636 c141W
63. Mr. C. Royle

asked the Secretary of State for the Home Department how many West Indians have been convicted of frauds against the Post Office in the last three years; what percentage this represents of all convictions for such offences; and how many convictions have been registered for such offences per 1,000 West Indians and other races, respectively.

Mr. R. A. Butler

I regret that this information is not available, since the Criminal Statistics are not kept in such a way as to show the places of origin of offenders unless special arrangements have been made for this to be done in respect of a particular offence.
