§ Mr. Kershawasked the Secretary of State for Air how much money the Royal Air Force Benevolent Fund has collected in donations from official sources.
§ Mr. J. AmeryAlthough I have no formal responsibility for the work of the Royal Air. Force Benevolent Fund my Department naturally keeps in close touch with it. I understand that at present between 80 per cent. and 90 per cent. of officers and airmen contribute to the116W Fund and that the sums received from this and other Service sources in 1960 amounted to about£175,000. No contribution is made from Air Votes. I have arranged for my hon. Friend to be provided with copies of the Fund's annual reports for the last five years.
