HC Deb 14 March 1961 vol 636 cc99-100W
54. Mr. Emrys Hughes

asked the Secretary of State for Scotland how many houses are still required in Dunoon and the villages in the neighbourhood of the Holy Loch and what are his detailed proposals for dealing with the housing problem in that area.

Mr. Maclay

Detailed proposals for dealing with outstanding housing needs in that area are matters for the two local authorities concerned. I understand that Argyll County Council contemplates building some sixty houses in the area over the next three years, but I have no information at present about the town council's future programme.
