HC Deb 14 March 1961 vol 636 cc98-9W
47. Mr. J. Hill

asked the Secretary of State for Scotland if he will arrange for the installation of a modern diagnostic nerve testing machine in the Edinburgh Northern General Hospital at an early date.

Mr. Maclay

This would be a matter for the board of management and the regional hospital board. I understand that no formal request for such a machine has been made by the consultant concerned.

48. Mr. J. Hill

asked the Secretary of State for Scotland how many respirators have been supplied to the Edinburgh Northern General Hospital in the past two years.

Mr. Maclay

No addition has been proposed by the board of management during this period to the three respirators already available at the hospital.
