The newspapers in which details of the offer were published in full, and the cost in each case, were: TheTimes—£8,250; the Financial Times£9,250; The Guardian—£4,950; the Daily Telegraph—£12,210; The Scotsman—£3,960; and the Glasgow Herald—£4,440.In addition abridged particulars were published in 25 other newspapers at a total cost of £9,859 10s. 6d.
