§ Sir D. EcclesThe five voluntary schools completed in 1960, referred to in my reply to the hon. Member's Question of 8th December, 1960, were all schools required by their Trust Deeds to give religious instruction in accordance with the Christian Faith. All received grants140W from my Department except one which was paid for by the local education authority as a controlled school.
Following is the answer to the third part of the Question:
