Mr. G. Wilsonasked the Minister of Transport whether he will make a further statement about the study of the developing problems of roads and traffic in urban areas.
§ Mr. MarplesYes. Last October Mr. C. D. Buchanan, formerly a Principal Inspector in the Ministry of Housing and Local Government, was seconded to my Department to make a study of these problems. To help Mr. Buchanan in this work I am appointing a small Steering Group and I am glad to tell the House that Sir Geoffrey Crowther has agreed to be Chairman. The other members of the Group will be—
