§ Mr. Dudley Smithasked the Postmaster General whether he will now remove the 2 oz. limit on the weight of a letter which can be sent to Poland by air.

From the 1st July the letter mail service to Poland will be brought into line with that for the rest of Europe and all letters within the normal weight limits, prepaid at the international surface postage rate, will be sent by air whenever this will result in earlier delivery. My right hon. Friend is also pleased to say that from the same date letters for the Azores, prepaid at the ordinary international surface rate of postage, will be sent by air without surcharge.
