§ 9. Mr. Woodburnasked the Postmaster-General whether he will arrange for the provision of telephone kiosks at regular intervals on the main roads for the use of the public, police, motorists and others involved in accidents or other emergencies on the roads.
§ Miss PikeMy right hon. Friend does not think that this would be justified as a regular practice. But in deciding where to site telephone kiosks he takes account of the likelihood of emergency calls. If the hon. Member has any particular case in mind and will let my right hon. Friend know, he will be glad to make inquiry.
