§ Mr. Iain MacleodThe sentences were twelve months' imprisonment with hard labour for causing the death of an African constable by dangerous driving and three months' imprisonment with hard labour for failing to stop and render assistance; the sentences are concurrent. The question of visits by relatives is covered by prison regulations, which are the responsibility of the Federal Government.
