Mr. Gresham Cookeasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer if he will now make a statement about his policy regarding decimal currency; and, in order to assist British trade throughout the world, if he will adopt a decimal coinage system based on the £ sterling, 10 florins and 20 pennies to the florin, to come into operation in January, 1963.
